Day Six - B.A.T, Bat, Monkey

B.A.T (buns, abs and thighs)

Before we left on holiday Ali put the question to me of what I wanted for me during my holiday - gain, maintain or lose. I said maintain or lose. After the food on the plane, and the yummy local eateries (not touristy ones) I was thinking to avoid disappointment
I may have to re-evaluate. Until we got to the Batu Caves.

I knew the caves had steep stairs, and lots of them, but I just about passed out at the thought of hauling myself up them in the heat. Then I thought of the exercise points and soldiered on. We followed up the stairs with an hour and a half tour through the dark caves - which provided us plenty more stairs to climb.

Highlight of the day: Justin actually got chased by an angry monkey. It was the most terrifying and the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Lowlight of the day: My daily skin regiment included some guano today. Bugger.

I bought a light shawl/ throw thing to cover shoulders as required, it's so handy I'm not really sure how I survived without one for the last 25 years. So far it's been used to cover up when culturally required, as a hand towel, blanket and most recently bat poo remover. Time to wash it I think.

Warning: the following may contain too much information for some.
Had my first encounter with the fem-urinal, I knew it was coming, and more or less what to expect. What I didn't expect was how many muscles (mostly thighs but a little bit abs) it takes to pee like that.

Another IOU have photos, will post (of the monkeys not the urinal!).
