So we missed our connecting train to chumphon as Justin was frocking his electronics collection in Penang but cue more amazing race style running in an effort to make it. All with that stupid backpack.
We crossed to Thailand in a bus rather than waiting for another train. Stayed a night in a cute little commuter town and
after an amazingly long journey in a mini van (thanks to a travel agents stuff up) we were dumped in Suratthani despite out tickets being paid to take us to chumpon.
We decided we'd go directly to koh Tao from there and jumped on an over night ferry.
Arriving in koh tao was bliss. We were able to check into our beach front bungalow on arrival - and frock up for the day!
Had a relaxing day explored the island on a scooter, played some mini golf.
We decided some pampering would be the ideal way to end our day and splashed out on an hour of Thai massage and an hour long pedicure and foot scrub Mmm.
Amazing race styles indeed! Well done, well done :)
ReplyDeleteMary held my hand for WI yesterday, only 2kg for me, it is a MIRACLE!
Now I'm coming for ya ;)
Haha, you can hold my hand for wi when I get back. Points are impossible here, however thinking lugging this pack everywhere might negate effects. Especially given how many stairs I've done with it, lost at least a cm off thighs in last week.
DeleteHowever suspecst that cm is now hanging out on rib cage.
Sounds fun its not a real holiday without a few dramas :-) looks like heather is on a mission :-p
