Today there was minimal time to frock myself, so am making extra effort on nutrition. Specifically hydration and not falling off the wagon because I'm travelling and everyone around me is indulging.
Finished packing bags, dropped the doggies at my parents, and then bam, I'm on a plane to malaysia buying my coca-cola light in malaysian ringett.
Interestingly my biggest concern of today was what meal did I order on the plane. Airport muffins and coffee were easy to say 'no' to, as were the counters of chocolate bars and cart of cookies and crisps the lovely air stewards are pushing. However +14kg pre-ww mel ordered my meal back in march 2011. Luckily for me they must have changed the menu since then and my meal ended up being a delicious piece of salmon and steamed veggies. Yus! (poor mr man wasn't very happy though - we originally ordered the same thing and he hates salmon hence my conclusion it was not what we initially ordered.)
As an aside these seats are small. Tiny. I feel squished in and am taking solace in thinking about how much more squished I would have been if I hadn't started my (weight loss) journey when I had.
